Clovis West extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday, bumping them up to 13-11-1. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Clovis Cougars a 2-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-10 on Tuesday.

Clovis West got a great performance from Andrew Griffin as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over 6.2 innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts Griffin has posted since back in February.

As for Clovis, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat they have suffered since April 29, 2025.
