Soccer Game Preview: Auburn vs. Pana

The Auburn Trojans will venture away from home to challenge the Pana Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Auburn's tournament run continued when they took on Riverton/Tri-City on Friday. The Trojans put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 7-1 victory. It was an even better day for Baleigh Jordan as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pana, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 4-2 win over North Mac on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for Pana as it spelled an end to their five-match losing streak.

Pana's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 4-12. As for Auburn, their victory bumped their record up to 8-11.

Everything went Auburn's way against Pana in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as Auburn made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
