North Central posted their closest win since August 25th on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Gilbert Indians 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won eight in a row.

North Central's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Gilbert, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-3 record.

Gilbert wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Ben Lippen on the 20th. Hopefully North Central paid attention to the Indians' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
