Bishop O'Connell extended their winning streak to 27 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Natalie Hobson. The Knights were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Elizabeth Seton Roadrunners on Friday for which the team can thank Hobson, who had seven digs and four aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Bishop O'Connell walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-18, 25-10, 25-21.

Bishop O'Connell was led to victory by Caroline Semko and Macie Murray. Semko had 11 digs and six assists, while Murray had 13 kills and four aces. Those six assists gave Semko a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Bishop O'Connell was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 12 aces in three consecutive matchups.

Bishop O'Connell's win bumped their record up to 17-0. As for Elizabeth Seton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Looking ahead, Bishop O'Connell will square off against Flint Hill at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Elizabeth Seton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Archbishop Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
