Volleyball Recap: Addyson Nunley and Leila Huff Secure Win for Fair Grove

Fair Grove had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Reeds Spring on Tuesday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp 3-0 win. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Leading Fair Grove to victory were Leila Huff and Addyson Nunley. Huff had 16 digs and two assists, while Nunley had 11 digs. Huff is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Fair Grove was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Reeds Spring only served four.

Fair Grove's win bumped their record up to 19-11-3. As for Reeds Spring, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-28-3 record this season.

Fair Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Strafford on the 23rd. Reeds Spring does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
