Volleyball Recap: De Beque Comes Up Short

De Beque was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Wray Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dragons of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Ileeyah Herrera paced De Beque's offense, picking up two kills. Herrera got some help from Tylee Graham and her two assists.

De Beque's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Wray, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Coincidentally, De Beque and Wray will both be playing Pikes Peak Christian the next time they take the court. The Dragons will head out to face the Eagles at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
