Nederland posted their biggest win since December 12, 2023 on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lee Ganders 61-31. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 162nd, while the Ganders are ranked 1198th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Nederland's victory bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Lee, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-23.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nederland will welcome West Brook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Brook will roll in looking for their 25th straight win, something Nederland surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lee, they will be playing at home against Barbers Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lee is facing Barbers Hill at the right time seeing as Barbers Hill is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
