It was a good run, but Chester unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Brookeland Wildcats, falling 10-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in March.

Lauren Cintrano made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Tegan Toler, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Chester's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Brookeland, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chester will host Zavalla at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Brookeland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hemphill at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
