Brunswick scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Messalonskee, 13-12. At the time, the Eagles was ranked 10th in the state, while the Dragons was 26th.

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Messalonskee, who took down 10th ranked Messalonskee, 13-12.

Skowhegan's Adam Clukey and Grant Benson have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading A Pine Tree in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback Clukey has thrown for 254 yards this season, while Benson has eight catches for 162 yards. Oxford Hills's Malik Geiger leads the league in rushing yards with 213.

The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Lawrence and Cony. The Bulldogs enters the contest ranked eighth in the state, while the Rams ranks ninth.

Little was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from 10th to eighth in the league. The Eddies vanquished Mt. Ararat 49-0 earlier in the week.
