Soccer Recap: William Blount Comes Up Short

Lukas Baker and Wyatt Martin scored both of William Blount's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

William Blount's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Buckhorn, their win bumped their record up to 11-7-1.

William Blount wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Goodpasture Christian on the 29th. As for Buckhorn, they will welcome Athens at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Athens will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last.
