Hoggard had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.8 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They came out on top against the Pinecrest Patriots by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Hoggard also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2022.

Sawyer Ingham and Ari Tanner scored both of Hoggard's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Hoggard's win bumped their record up to 7-1-1. As for Pinecrest, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3-1.

Hoggard and Pinecrest will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Vikings will challenge rival West Brunswick at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pinecrest is set to face off against their familiar foe Jack Britt at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
