Soccer Game Preview: Beaumont vs. Warren

The Beaumont Cougars will challenge the Warren Bears at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Beaumont comes in on three and Warren on eight.

Beaumont is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They had just enough and edged Paramount out 3-2. That's two games straight that the Cougars have won by just one goal.

They hit Paramount with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Angelo Garcia, Caleb Carver, and Hector Pulido.

Meanwhile, Warren kept a clean sheet against Banning on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 5-0 margin over the Broncos. Given the Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 68th, while the Broncos are ranked 343rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Beaumont's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Warren, their victory bumped their record up to 13-6.
