It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Mercer ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Iroquois Braves, sneaking past 2-1. For Mercer, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory Iroquois walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Mercer's win bumped their record up to 12-6-1. As for Iroquois, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.

Looking ahead, Mercer will square off against Mercyhurst Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mercyhurst Prep will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Mercer surely won't give up without a fight. Iroquois does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
