Madison County was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against North Jackson on Thursday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Chiefs with a sharp 11-2 victory. The Tigers not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 6th.

Marion Gamble spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Madison County let Allison Yeary and Sydney Gurley run wild. Yeary got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Gurley scored two runs while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. That's the most runs Yeary has posted over her last 11 games. The team also got some help courtesy of Addy Gustafson, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Madison County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .550. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Jackson only posted an OBP of .269.
