Baseball Recap: Arkoma Comes Up Short

The Mustangs fell just short of the Quinton Savages by a score of 8-6 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Mustangs have suffered since March 29, 2024.

Arkoma's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Quinton, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-10-1 record this season.

Arkoma will take on Central at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.88 runs per game on average), something the Mustangs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
