Softball Recap: Uvalde Takes a Loss

After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Uvalde was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell 5-2 to the Pleasanton Eagles.

SIENNA MIRELEZ spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five runs (all of which were unearned) on seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, JOCELYN RODRIGUEZ was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.
