Football Recap: Keytesville Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Keytesville duked it out with Braymer on Friday. The Tigers were dealt a 50-8 defeat at the hands of the Bobcats. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Bobcats: they've now lost four in a row.

Even if they lost, Keytesville's defensive line still kept up the pressure with six sacks. Braymer's QB won't forget Case Reckamp anytime soon given he sacked him three times.

Keytesville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Braymer, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Keytesville will host Norborne/Hardin-Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keytesville will need to watch out since Norborne/Hardin-Central has now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Braymer, they will be playing at home against Schuyler County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will be up against the Rams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 57.8 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
