Baseball Recap: Bradford Wins Going Away Against Brockway

Bradford got themselves on the board against Brockway on Thursday, but Brockway never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Brockway Rovers with a sharp 13-0 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Owls considering their two-run performance the contest before.

The team relied heavily on Talan Reese, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and one run. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Lama, who scored three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Bradford always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brockway only posted an OBP of .250.

The win got Bradford back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bradford will welcome Kane at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Brockway, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against St. Marys at 4:00 p.m.
