Softball Recap: Presidio Blue Devils vs. Kermit Yellow Jackets
There's no place like home for Presidio, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Kermit Yellow Jackets on Friday as the Presidio Blue Devils made off with an 11-3 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what Presidio needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.
Valerie Armendariz made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk).
