Soccer Recap: Honaker Comes Up Short

Honaker lost to George Wythe two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tigers came up short against the Maroons, falling 7-0. Honaker fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against George Wythe since Wednesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Honaker and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for George Wythe, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Honaker will host Lebanon at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for George Wythe, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Graham at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
