Basketball Recap: Bloomington North Comes Up Short

The Bloomington North Cougars lost to the Evansville North Huskies at home by a 45-27 margin on Friday.

Evansville North found their leader in sophomore Lexi Scott, who posted 13 points in addition to five boards and three steals. Scott is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Bloomington North's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Evansville North, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7.

Bloomington North has already played their next matchup, a 41-40 win against Lafayette Jefferson on the 27th. As for Evansville North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 54-19 victory against Crawfordsville on the 27th.
