Silverdale Academy piles up the points against Valor College Prep

The Silverdale Academy Seahawks put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 64-23 victory over Valor College Prep on the road. Silverdale Academy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won eight games by 24 points or more this season.

Leading Silverdale Academy to victory were Judah Richardson and Houston Holland. Richardson scored ten points along with five assists and three steals, while Holland scored 19 points. The match was Holland's 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Okpara, who scored nine points.

Silverdale Academy's win bumped their record up to 17-0. As for Valor College Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Silverdale Academy and Bradley Central will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Bradley Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 105th, while Silverdale Academy is ranked 32nd). As for Valor College Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Dayspring Academy at 7:30 p.m. Dayspring Academy is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
