After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Wendover, Pershing County was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 60-20 victory over the Oasis Academy Bighorns. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 23 points or more this season.

Pershing County's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Oasis Academy, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pershing County and Sierra Lutheran will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Oasis Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on enCompass Academy at 4:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
