Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Amesbury's offense. They fell just short of Pentucket Regional by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. Amesbury haven't had much luck with Pentucket Regional recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Amesbury's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Hamilton-Wenham Regional, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
