With a playoff win on the line, Adena rose to the challenge  on Monday. Everything went their way against the Meigs Marauders as they made off with  a  12-5 win. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won 13 contests by six  runs or more  so far this season.
The team  relied heavily on  Marly Halcomb, who  went 3-for-5 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and three  runs. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Adriana Guarnieri, who  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Adena  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 18  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
Adena has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for Meigs,  with the  loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-7.
 Coming up, Adena will face off against Wheelersburg at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their  24th straight  win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. Meigs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
