Soccer Recap: Sheridan Comes Up Short

If Sheridan was feeling good fresh off their 5-0 takedown of Hot Springs last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sheridan Yellowjackets fell just short of the Russellville Cyclones by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The loss was the Yellowjackets' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sheridan fell to 2-1.

Sheridan has already played their next matchup, a 6-2 win against Lake Hamilton on the 11th. As for Russellville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against De Queen on the 8th.
