Football Recap: Tomah Comes Up Short

Tomah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Holmen Vikings 42-13. While losing is never fun, the Timberwolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 240th, while the Vikings are ranked 48th).

Tomah's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Holmen, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Tomah will challenge La Crosse Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Timberwolves will be up against the Riverhawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.33 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Holmen, they will take on Baraboo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
