Soccer Recap: Academy of Our Lady Takes a Loss

Academy of Our Lady was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Belle Chasse Cardinals. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Penguins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 last Thursday.

Academy of Our Lady now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Belle Chasse, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-11-1 record this season.

Academy of Our Lady has already played their next game (against Edna Karr), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Belle Chasse does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
