Volleyball Recap: Dalton Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday + How To Watch

Dalton hadn't done well against East Hamilton recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Catamounts walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hurricanes. The Catamounts were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Hurricanes, so the Catamounts were just returning the favor.

Dalton never let East Hamilton on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-20.

Georgia Sanders paced Dalton's offense, picking up six kills. Sanders got some help from Anjalee Lemons and her eight assists. Karyme Smithey controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Dalton pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Dalton and East Hamilton will both be playing Kell the next time they take the court. The Hurricanes will head out to face the Longhorns at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Catamounts will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
