Volleyball Recap: Dalton Makes It Five in a Row at Home + How To Watch

Dalton hadn't done well against East Hamilton recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Catamounts came out on top against the Hurricanes by a score of 2-0. The Catamounts were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Hurricanes, so the Catamounts were just returning the favor.

While Dalton won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-20.

Georgia Sanders paced Dalton's offense, picking up six kills. Sanders got some help from Anjalee Lemons and her eight assists. Karyme Smithey controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Dalton pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Dalton and East Hamilton will both be playing Kell the next time they take the court. The Hurricanes will head out to face the Longhorns at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Catamounts will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
