Volleyball Game Preview: Freedom Patriots vs. Horizon Hawks

The Freedom Patriots will face off against the Horizon Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Freedom's favor as the squad sits on 19 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Horizon has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Freedom is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over George Jenkins.

Freedom walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-18, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Horizon faced Cypress Creek in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Hawks put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 3-0 win.

Freedom is on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 21 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season. As for Horizon, their victory bumped their record up to 18-10.

Freedom came out on top in a nail-biter against Horizon in their previous matchup last Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Patriots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
