Baseball Recap: Marietta Comes Up Short

Marietta blew Comanche out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Comanche got their revenge. Marietta fell just short of Comanche by a score of 2-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, Marietta's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Marietta's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Comanche, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Coming up, Marietta will welcome Plainview at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Comanche, they will head out on the road to take on Ponca City at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
