The Greenbrier Wolfpack will head out to take on the South Effingham Mustangs at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
South Effingham will be up against a hot Greenbrier team: the squad just extended their winning streak to five. The Wolfpack put the hurt on Brunswick with a sharp 12-3 victory on Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on Josie McQuillan, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Harlem Waul, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Greenbrier always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .636. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, South Effingham got the win against Evans on Tuesday by a conclusive 14-1. The win continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won eight in a row.
Cheniyah Jackson spent all four innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Sydney Minshall was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Danni Lynn was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI.
Greenbrier's record is now 19-8. As for South Effingham, their record now sits at 17-2.
Saturday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Greenbrier hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .393. However, it's not like South Effingham struggles in that department as they've averaged .407. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
