Lucas Driscoll posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out five batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

Coming up, Driscoll and Paul VI will head out on the road to square off against Our Lady of Good Counsel at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sadly, Driscoll's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Panthers' seven-game streak of wins at home.
