Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southern Door). In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 70-69 victory over the Sturgeon Bay Clippers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 53-42 back in December of 2024.

Southern Door's win ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-15. As for Sturgeon Bay, their loss was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-14.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Algoma the next time they take the court. Southern Door will head out to face Algoma at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Sturgeon Bay will host them at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th.
