Soccer Recap: Midview Comes Up Short

Midview managed to keep up with Lakewood until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Middies lost 5-1 to the Rangers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Midview of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2020.

Their goal came courtesy of Kaiden Vonya, which was the first he's scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Midview and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Lakewood, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midview will welcome Avon Lake at 7:00 p.m. on the 27th. As for Lakewood, they will be playing at home against North at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
