Softball Recap: Edwards Takes a Loss

Edwards lost against Greenwood last Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Edwards Tigers might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 49-32 to the Greenwood Bulldogs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Edwards' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Greenwood, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edwards will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Gentry at 4:00 p.m. on February 25th. As for Greenwood, they will host Leflore County at 4:30 p.m. on February 20th.
