Soccer Recap: Lafayette Has No Trouble Against Lancaster

After low-scoring totals in their previous five game, Lafayette brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. Everything went their way against the Lancaster Red Devils on Wednesday as they made off with a 12-0 victory. Given Lafayette's advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 90th, while Lancaster are ranked 215th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win got Lafayette back to even at 4-4-2. As for Lancaster, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Coming up, Lafayette will welcome Grafton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lancaster has already played their next contest (against Essex), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
