Basketball Recap: Cabool Takes a Loss

Cabool was the 58-56 winner over Gainesville when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cabool Bulldogs were dealt a 63-21 defeat at the hands of the Gainesville Bulldogs on Thursday.

Cabool has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Gainesville, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Cabool didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 82-26 loss against Thayer on the 17th. Gainesville has also already played their next contest, a 76-64 win against Conway on the 17th.
