Clemens barely beat San Marcos the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Clemens was the clear victor by a 12-2 margin over San Marcos on Friday. Considering the Buffaloes have won 11 games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Alexus Worthy was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in February. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with four RBI and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Erika Padron, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Aubry Willmann, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Clemens' victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for San Marcos, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-13-2.
