Machias waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Woodland Dragons as they made off with a 57-31 victory. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 26 points or more this season.

Machias pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Woodland, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Machias won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Bangor Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Machias knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Bangor Christian likes a good challenge. As for Woodland, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Jonesport-Beals at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
