Volleyball Recap: Palmetto Takes a Loss

Palmetto and West-Oak squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Palmetto had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Warriors. The Mustangs' loss continues a trend for the team, making it 11 in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-16, 25-13.

West-Oak was led to victory by Norah Burgess and Cassie Stotlzfus. Burgess had 11 digs and three assists, while Stotlzfus had two aces. That's the most assists Burgess has posted since back in September.

Palmetto's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for West-Oak, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 18-4.

Palmetto does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West-Oak, they will welcome St. Joseph's Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
