Basketball Game Preview: Community Christian Warriors vs. Forestburg Longhorns

The Community Christian Warriors just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Forestburg Longhorns at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Community Christian is looking for their season's first victory.

On Thursday, Community Christian had to suffer through a 78-16 loss at the hands of Fellowship Academy.

Meanwhile, Forestburg lost to Victory Christian Academy at home by a 45-31 margin on Tuesday.

Despite the defeat, Forestburg saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brenna Briles posted 15 points in addition to eight boards and four steals. The contest was Briles' fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jocelynn Rich, who had eight points in addition to six rebounds and four steals.

Community Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Forestburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.

Community Christian lost to Forestburg on the road by a decisive 58-44 margin when the teams last played back in November of 2023. Can Community Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
