Basketball Recap: Hazen Comes Up Short

Hazen lost against Our Redeemer's Christian back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hazen Bison took a hard 67-49 fall against the Our Redeemer's Christian Knights. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hazen's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Our Redeemer's Christian, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Hazen won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Westhope/Newburg at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Westhope/Newburg knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Hazen likes a good challenge. As for Our Redeemer's Christian, they will challenge South Prairie/Max at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
