Basketball Recap: Humble Christian's Loss Ends Eight-Game Winning Streak at Home

Humble Christian entered their match against School of the Woods on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Humble Christian Cougars took a hard 61-43 fall against the School of the Woods Wildcats. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 42-36 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

It was another big night for Adam Zagaar, who posted 28 points along with five boards and five steals for School of the Woods. Zagaar has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 18 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Truitt Torgerson, who put up seven points in addition to nine rebounds and four steals.

Humble Christian's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-6. As for School of the Woods, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 23-2.

Humble Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. School of the Woods has already played their next game (against Banff), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
