Rancho Cucamonga fell victim to Etiwanda and their airtight defense on Monday. They took a 13-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Cougars' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Rancho Cucamonga's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Etiwanda, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Rancho Cucamonga is set to square off against their familiar foe Chino Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Etiwanda will challenge rival Upland at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Eagles 8.2, the Highlanders/Scots 12.5) so any points scored will be well earned.
