Basketball Recap: Crosshill Christian Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Crosshill Christian Eagles came up short against the Monroe Dragons and fell 49-39.

Crosshill Christian dropped their record down to 6-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Monroe, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Crosshill Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 46-22 win against Sherman on the 25th. As for Monroe, they will venture away from home to challenge Central Linn at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Linn will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Monroe surely won't give up without a fight.
