Baseball Recap: Sherman Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Sherman came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Irrigon Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in March.

Sherman's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Irrigon, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Sherman will venture away from home to take on Elgin/Imbler at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Irrigon, they will head out to challenge Grant Union at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
