Volleyball Recap: Broken Bow Victorious

Broken Bow won the last time they faced North Platte and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Indians walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bulldogs.

While Broken Bow might've won, it sure wasn't easy: North Platte scored at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 28-26, 25-27, 25-21.

Olivia Neely paced Broken Bow's offense, picking up 20 kills. Neely got some help from McKenna Jacobsen and her 40 assists. Finally, Neely was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

The victory got Broken Bow back to even at 1-1. As for North Platte, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Broken Bow will take on Gothenburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Platte, they will challenge Columbus on Thursday. The game will give the Bulldogs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
