Illiana Christian is a perfect 7-0 against Highland since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Vikings will be playing at home against the Trojans at 6:30 p.m. Illiana Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Highland will be coming in after a loss.

Meanwhile, Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Hobart, falling 3-0.

While Highland was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Hobart's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-15, 25-20.

Illiana Christian's win bumped their record up to 22-6. As for Highland, their loss dropped their record down to 6-19.

Everything went Illiana Christian's way against Highland in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Illiana Christian made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
